Michael Gove, the editor of the Spectator and former Cabinet minister, delivered our 2026 annual lecture on 25 March 2026 followed by a questions & answers session chaired by our Director Chris Deerin.
The lecture was titled “Can the centre hold” with Lord Gove speaking to trends across the UK and the West, as well as reflecting on how the centre can deliver change.
Our chair, Lord McConnell delivered the introductory remarks.
